Before reporting a bug, a glitch or a vulnerability, make sure you follow the checklist presented at the end of this article.
We offer help (installation, multi-instance setups, diagnostics) only if you use the following launchers:
- Prism: perfect for multi-instance setups (recommended if you play with an offline client; the server accepts offline clients).
- MultiMC: perfect for multi-instance setups.
- PolyMC: perfect for multi-instance setups.
- Modrinth: perfect for multi-instance setups and modpacks.
- CurseForge: possible but less recommended (very good for mods, but depends on the Microsoft launcher, and multi-instance management is more complicated).
- Vanilla (Minecraft Launcher / Microsoft): accepted, but help is limited; we can help configure a single instance (main server or event map).
TLauncher: No help will be provided. Switch launcher if you want help.
- Retrieve the crash report and the latest log
- Crash report: in your Minecraft folder →
crash-reports/ → file crash-YYYY-MM-DD_HH.MM.SS-client.txt (e.g. crash-2026-09-28_22.45.43-client.txt; sort by date and take the most recent).
- Latest log: in your Minecraft folder →
logs/latest.log.
- Typical paths (Windows):
%appdata%\.minecraft\
C:\Users\<NAME>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\
- MultiMC / Prism / PolyMC: open the instance →
Instance Folder → crash-reports and logs/latest.log.
- CurseForge / Modrinth launcher: open the instance →
Open Folder → same folders (crash-reports, logs).
- If you can't find them: launch the launcher, select the instance you used and use the "Open instance folder" option to go directly to the files.
- Upload the crash report / log
- Host the crash report or the log on a log-sharing site, for example mclo.gs (upload the contents of the
.txt file or of latest.log).
- Post on Discord
- Post the report link by creating a post in the help forum.
- In your message, include:
- Minecraft version (e.g.
1.21.4)
- Launcher and instance (Prism / MultiMC / Modrinth / CurseForge / Vanilla)
- Mod loader (Forge, Fabric, Quilt, NeoForge)
- List of mods / datapacks used (or "vanilla" if none)
- What you were doing at the time of the crash (specific actions)
- Screenshot / video if available
- mclo.gs link to the crash report / latest.log
Do not report a simple disconnection caused by your Internet connection (latency / packet loss). Disconnections related to your personal network are not treated as crashes.
When you report a (non-blocking) bug, give as much information as possible:
- Precise steps to reproduce the bug (number them).
- Frequency (always / sometimes / only once).
- Game version, launcher, mods/datapacks.
crash-report or latest.log if applicable.
- Screenshot or short video (YouTube / Discord / Imgur).
Post all of this in help. The admin or other players can comment, test and confirm.
Vulnerabilities / exploits / duping are sensitive. Do not use them.
- Report them immediately and privately to the admin (do not publish the vulnerability publicly).
- Recommended methods for private reporting:
- DM (direct message) to the admin on Discord (the admin user identified on the server).
- If you prefer, send the report by email to minecraft@jahus.net
- Content of the private report: reproduction steps, logs, screenshots/videos, access level required (client/server/mod), and whether you exploited the vulnerability (do not use it).
- The admin will assess or patch it depending on severity.
