"Claims" let players claim one or more areas, adjacent or not, so that these areas can only be accessed by them and (if they wish) their team or allies.
To claim an area, you can:
/openpac-claims claimTo create sub-claims (for example House, Farm) and choose their protection options, you can:
/openpac-claims commandsTo create a team, add or remove members, and add or remove allies, you can use the /openpac-parties commands:
/openpac-parties create/openpac-parties member invite PLAYER_NAME/openpac-parties ally add NAME_OF_A_PLAYER_IN_THE_ALLIED_TEAM/openpac-parties member kick PLAYER_NAME/openpac-parties ally remove NAME_OF_A_PLAYER_IN_THE_ALLIED_TEAM/openpac-parties leave/openpac-parties destroy confirmWhen you create a claim (or a sub-claim) without changing its protection options, the following applies automatically. The names in parentheses are those displayed in the mod's interface, in case you want to check or change a value yourself.

Your team therefore has full access to your claim (Full Chunk Access: Party), as if it were their own. Your allies can harvest crops, kill livestock and use the ender chest, but cannot build, break, or open your chests or doors. Players who are neither on your team nor allies have no access to anything.
PvP is disabled by default in a claim. You can enable it yourself if you wish.
The ender chest (Interact (Ender_Chests)) is open to your allies by default, unlike regular chests: once placed, it costs the owner nothing more. The interaction only opens the shared inventory; there is no breakage or wear on each use, unlike a chest whose contents can be emptied.
The enchanting table (Interact (Enchanting_Tables)) is reserved for your team by default (Party), not open to your allies. It is not treated like the other workstations (see below) because a fully powered enchanting table is expensive to build: it must be surrounded by 16 bookshelves. It is an investment by the owner, not just a piece of furniture.
Each player remains free to open their own enchanting table more widely (to their allies, or even to everyone) on their sub-claim if they wish.
Talking to a villager or a wandering trader is not governed by a single option, but by two settings that add up:
Allow Entities By Players: the general rule for interacting with "friendly" entities in your claim. Default: Nobody.Interact (Traders): a specific exception that only concerns villagers and wandering traders. Default: Nobody.A player can interact with a villager if at least one of the two options allows it.
Interact (Traders) can be configured by the player.
Some crafting blocks cost the claim owner nothing when someone else uses them. These blocks are therefore open to everyone, and this setting cannot be changed by players:
Interact (Stonecutters))Interact (Grindstones))Interact (Cartography_Tables))Interact (Smithing_Tables))Interact (Looms))Conversely, the anvil (Interact (Anvils)), furnaces (Interact (Furnaces)), lectern (Interact (Lecterns)) and jukebox remain reserved for your team by default. You can open them more widely if you wish.
Allow Fire Spread: OFF). You can allow it on a sub-claim if you want.Allow Blocks By Explosions: OFF, cannot be changed).Allow Hostile Spawn: ON, cannot be changed). You can create several sub-claims with different settings: for example a "House" area with the default settings, and a "Public farm" area where you open access to crops to everyone.
