This page is dedicated to players' ideas and proposals to improve the server, organize events or experiment with new mechanics.
It describes the rules and best practices to follow so that your suggestions are effective and respect the server's vision.
Players can propose:
- Events: competitions, challenges, group builds: which can be organized by the team or by the players themselves, in compliance with the rules.
- Mods or updates: new features, technical additions or gameplay improvements.
- Challenges, builds, mini-projects: creative ideas to carry out alone or in a group.
You are responsible for what you propose.
The admin does not create or run events for you; they can only provide special items or occasional technical support.
¶ Server changes and mods
- Only the admin decides on rule changes.
- Only the admin decides what is added to the main server.
- The admin pays for the server and guarantees its vanilla vision, and no proposal can change this guideline.
- If a mod is liked, it will be added.
- Modpacks or mods requiring client-side installation are refused during normal seasons, but can be tested during the weekend events between two seasons, on the secondary map open on Fridays and Saturdays (sometimes during the week).
¶ Roles and permissions
- Proposals to become a moderator will never be accepted.
- Moderators do not have OP rights.
- Only the admin has OP rights and controls the technical aspects of the server.
- Players who want to help must do so in a social and collaborative way.
All suggestions are made on the Kabyle Minecraft Discord server.
- Structural suggestions (mods, updates, major changes) only concern the next season.
- Suggestions for events, challenges or projects can concern the current season.
- During the alpha or beta phases (private or invitation-only), suggestions concern the new season.
Think about the viability of your proposal!
- A mod? Try it on your client and make sure it won't disrupt the normal season.
- A modpack? Test it and assess its feasibility.
- An event? Determine who can take part, when, how long it lasts, etc.
- A challenge or build? Plan the logistics and the resources needed. Find a team. Lead the project.
- Everything is spontaneous: there is no official server host.
- The admin is not paid and is not here to manage players' activities.
- Serious, well-thought-out suggestions are encouraged; unrealistic or incomplete ideas are likely to be ignored.
